THE RADIVIST GOES DEEP ON THEIR NEW REVEL ROVER REVIEW

The Revel Rover, launched in early 2022, is Revel’s first foray into a realm of bikes without their award-wining CBF full suspension platform. The product designers at Revel have deep roots in drop bar bike design, too, so the Rover is a logical next step in the brand’s expansion into a space that Revel was confident they could make a big splash in. Click the link below to learn more about the specs, ride quality, geometry, and even gripes of the Revel Rover through the Radivist’s John Watson’s eyes (and rides).

The Radivist’s Take

bigquotesThe Rover is the first carbon chassis I’ve ridden that feels smooth and doesn’t leave me fatigued after rough and rugged roads. This has a lot to do with the fork itself, which flexes a whole lot considering its robust appearance. Even with the 40mm Maxxis Rambler tires, pumped up to 25-30psi, there is a noticeable ride quality happening. For instance, you can watch the front fork flex on washboard descents and feel the bottom bracket sway ever-so-slightly on steep climbs.— John Watson, The Radivist
