NSMB Reviews the New Revel Ranger

In its latest review, NSMB's Mike Ferrentino spent two months putting the completely redesigned Revel Ranger through its paces. The verdict? The Ranger might just be the best short-travel trail bike out there.

The new Ranger pairs 120mm of rear travel with a 130mm fork, but there's a lot more to this redesign than five extra millimetres. Refined CBF suspension, updated geometry, and a redesigned frame come together to create a bike built to climb efficiently, handle technical terrain, and stay composed when the trail gets rough.

After two months of riding, Ferrentino came away impressed by just how much the Ranger could handle.

“This is a very impressive bike.”

And when it comes to his own riding style, his conclusion was even stronger:

“For the kind of riding I am into, the Ranger is about as good as it gets.”
