Why This Role Exists
Revel is hiring a Bike Builder to build and ship premium mountain bikes and frames to the highest standard. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and doing the job right the first time. If you enjoy working with your hands, following precise standards, and contributing to a quality-first team, this role is for you.
You'll work closely with the assembly, production, and operations teams at our Golden headquarters to make sure bikes ship on time and correctly built, with zero surprises for customers. Every bike you build represents the Revel brand, so attention to detail is key.
What You’ll Do
- Build bikes and frames to spec using checklists and documented SOPs
- Perform precise torque checks and safety inspections on all critical fasteners
- Verify suspension setup, cockpit alignment, and fit and finish
- Complete final quality checks so each bike meets Revel standards for safety, fit, and packaging presentation
- Identify and report missing parts, incorrect components, or quality issues before a bike ships
- Pack and ship small parts orders as needed
- Maintain and service the demo bike fleet (build accuracy, safety checks, readiness)
- Follow daily build priorities to support on-time shipping and customer deliveries
- Maintain a consistent and reliable build pace without sacrificing quality
- Support packing, prep, staging, and outbound readiness of completed bikes when needed
- Keep your work area, tools, and fixtures clean, organized, and ready for use
- Document build completion and any exceptions or rework in the required system or log
- Communicate clearly with warehouse and operations teams on build status, bottlenecks, and part constraints
- Escalate issues early when something could impact quality, customer experience, or shipping timelines
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- 2+ years of bicycle assembly experience (professional setting or advanced enthusiast level with strong technical depth)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and disciplined attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and checklists consistently
- Comfortable working on-site as part of a small team

- Interest in improving processes and helping wherever needed during peak periods

- Performance bonus: $2,000-$6,000 annually (based on quality, reliability, and execution)
- On-target earnings (OTE): $47,000-$61,000 annually (base salary + performance bonus)
