We like to tinker, and Project RaTical is our latest “what if” — a 130 mm travel prototype that blends 3D-printed titanium junctions with hand welded titanium tubes and an experimental CBF® layout with a vertical shock. It’s not a product announcement, it’s a peek into our R&D lab. The goal is to learn about materials, manufacturing, and kinematics, and bring those learnings back to the Revel bikes you can buy today.

We made this really as two experiments in one. The first part is an additive-hybrid titanium frame, which means 3d printed lugs welded to standard 3/2.5 titanium tubing.
