SPEED AND VERSATILITY, PERFECTED
Steeper seat tube angle for a more efficient pedaling position. Longer reach to re-center the rider on punchy climbs. Slacker head angle for serious confidence on the descents, and a lower bottom bracket for that planted, in-the-bike feel that translates to better cornering, better braking, and more traction on every surface. Chainstay lengths grow with the larger frame sizes, so every rider, no matter the size, gets balanced handling that feels purpose-built.
SHORT TRAVEL OPTIMIZED CBF
The new kinematic has been specifically refined for what a downcountry bike should feel like. More progressive than the previous two versions, with a ride feel that is an air pillow on top, supportive platform in the middle, and bottomless at the end. Small bumps disappear. Pumping becomes more productive. Huck-to-flats feel less daunting. The bike stays planted. On the climbs, higher anti-squat numbers pair with active suppleness deliver the dream combination of extreme pedal efficiency and maximum traction.
THE FINER THINGS
No stone was left unturned. The Ranger packs a full feature set into a tidy package. Three-bottle fitment. Clean, hidden cable routing protected from debris and impacts. Co-molded internal guide tubes for a rattle-free ride. Massive dropper post insertion across all sizes. Utility mount on the underside of the top tube. Noise-eating chainstay rubber and impact-absorbing downtube rubber. And an all-new stealthy debris fender. The best quality carbon. Light, fast, and made to party.
NO FLUFF, NO FILLER
We designed the Ranger to give the rider the best experience on and off the trail. That means no proprietary specs, no headset cable routing, no maintenance rabbit holes, no head-scratching compromises. Just highest-grade carbon fiber shaped into solid, thoughtful geometry with build choices that make sense. A bike you want to ride, and one that will make you want to ride more.

FAQ
WHAT'S NEW WITH THE RANGER FOR 2026?
To put it simply: Everything! All new geometry. All new Kinematic. All new hardware. All new look. All new ride feel. The list keeps going!
HOW MANY BOTTLES CAN I CARRY?
All the bottles! Every Ranger frame comes with three bottle mounting locations. Meaning, you can carry up to three bottles for those mega missions. Please note that max bottle sizes will vary per frame size.
CAN I CARRY TOOLS ON MY RANGER?
Yes! Every Ranger frame includes dedicated utility mounts on the underside of the top tube. Stash tools, tubes or anything else your heart desires.
CAN I MULLET THE RANGER?
We did not the design the Ranger to be ridden as a mullet so we don't recommend it.
IS THE RANGER GOOD AT CLIMBING?
Short answer: Yes! Long answer: Higher anti-squat numbers paired with CBF activeness over technical terrain, the Ranger has a perfect balance of efficiency and traction. The suspension resists pedal bob, all while staying open and active to allow for maximum traction on the climb.
IS THE RANGER GOOD AT DESCENDING?
Short answer: Yes! Long answer: The new geometry paired with the new kinematic makes this bike absolutely incredible on the descent. More-capable geometry, more sat-in feel, more travel, lower center of gravity, refined kinematic for better trail feel... The list goes on!
WHAT SIZE FRAME SHOULD I PURCHASE?
We want to make selecting the right size frame as easy as possible. For the Ranger, we recommend rider heights to ride the below frame sizes:
Small: 5'1"-5'6"
Medium: 5'5"-5'10"
Large: 5'9"-6'1"
X-Large: 6'1"-6'5"
CAN I RUN A DIFFERENT TRAVEL FORK ON MY RANGER?
Yes! You can run up to 140mm and as low as 120mm of fork travel on the Ranger. Please note that changing the fork travel will modify geometry and the ride feel of the bike as the Ranger was specifically designed around a 130mm fork.
CAN I FIT A PIGGYBACK SHOCK ON THE RANGER?
Yes! The Ranger can fit a long list of piggyback shocks available aftermarket. When installing a piggyback shock, the reservoir must be rotated downward towards the downtube. While this orientation does allow for piggyback fitment within the frame, it does reduce bottle clearance. The same goes for the SIDLuxe Flight Attendant if you choose to upgrade.
*Please note that you must purchase a shock with the correct tune. An incorrect tune will result in less-than-ideal suspension performance and ride feel. Please contact customer service if you are evaluating an aftermarket shock.
CAN I PURCHASE ANY AFTERMARKET SHOCK FOR MY RANGER?
Yes and no. Yes, you can purchase any aftermarket shock and install it on the Ranger and it will functionally work. The most important part is the shock tune. An incorrect tune will result in inadequate suspension performance and ride feel. to get the most out of your Ranger, please ensure the shock has a suitable tune for the Ranger V3.
Please contact customer service if you are evaluating an aftermarket shock.
WHAT SUSPENSION SAG IS RECCOMENDED?
The Ranger was designed around 30% rear sag. If you would like a firmer feel, you can go as low as 25% sag. Please refer to the fork manufacture's recommendation for fork sag. We personally like 25% fork sag.
UDH? WHAT IS THAT?
The Ranger V3 offers SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) compatibility, so replacement hangers are easier to find and your bike's drivetrain is more future-proof against manufacturer updates down the line.
WHAT IS THE SMALLEST CHAINRING I CAN RUN ON MY RANGER?
28T Round / 30T Oval
WHAT IS THE LARGEST CHAINRING I CAN RUN ON MY RANGER?
36T Round / 34T Oval
WHAT CHAIN LENGTH DO I NEED?
Designed around modern drivetrains, the baseline for the Ranger's chain length is set for a 32T chainring paired with a 10-52T cassette. for this configuration, the below chain lengths are required:
Small: 116L
Medium: 116L
Large: 116L
X-Large: 118L
WHAT SETUP POSITION IS NEEDED FOR THE SRAM EAGLE TRANSMISSION DERAILLEUR?
To maximize the performance of the Sram Eagle Transmission, you must use the below setup positions while installing a new derailleur:
Setup Position: B
Setup Cog: 7 (Red)
CAN I RUN A BASHGUARD ON MY RANGER?
The Ranger was designed with ISCG05 upper mounts. Meaning, you can run an aftermarket chain guide, but you cannot run an aftermarket bashguard. The new SRAM transmission cranks have built in bashguards to keep your chainring fresh.
WHAT IS THE SMALLEST BRAKE ROTOR SIZE I CAN RUN?
The Ranger is equipped with 180mm post mounts. Meaning, the minimum brake rotor size that can be used on the Ranger is a 180mm rear rotor. For the front rotor, please refer the fork manufacture requirements.
WHAT IS THE LARGEST BRAKE ROTOR SIZE I CAN RUN?
The maximum brake rotor size that can be used on the Ranger is a 223mm rear rotor. For the front rotor, please refer the fork manufacture requirements.
WHAT IS THE LONGEST SIZE DROPPER CAN I FIT?
The Ranger pairs a low seat tube height with deep insertion depth. What does this mean? You can run very long dropper length. Please note all dropper post manufactures require different insertion limits. The below maximum frame insertion guidelines can be a good starting point:
Small: 330mm (150~180mm drop recommended)
Medium: 335mm (180~210mm drop recommended)
Large: 340mm (210~240mm drop recommended)
X-Large: 340mm (240mm+ drop recommended)
WHAT IS THE LARGEST TIRE I CAN FIT?
The Ranger was designed to fit a 29x2.6 rear tire. Anything larger would not be recommended. For the front tire, please refer to the fork manufacture's maximum tire spec.
