Revel 2024 Recap

What an epic 2024! It’s hard to believe so much has happened in the past 365 days. If you missed anything, don’t worry, we rounded up some of the bigger moments throughout the year. Take a look back at the past year at Revel Bikes.

  1. We released the Tirade, an all-new titanium hardtail. With a 140mm fork and progressive geometry the Tirade is a modern aggressive hardtail mountain bike, able to charge through rough terrain while still makes pedaling a pleasure
  2. The award-winning and ultra-versatile Rascal that put us on the map back in 2019 was completely redesigned from the ground up to be the ultimate trail bike and best Revel yet. The new Rascal’s geometry is longer and slacker, but not too slack, allowing for efficient climbing and confident descending. We kept the award-winning kinematics from the Rascal V1 but them tweaked slightly to make for the best use of the 130mm CBF suspension. Thanks to a new carbon layup, the new Rascal is stiffer and lighter, achieving a 20% increase in lateral frame stiffness compared to V1, making for a lively and responsive ride. The Rascal comes with all-new pivot hardware with bigger bearings for increased frame stiffness and easier maintenance, a rear triangle debris guard and SRAM UDH for future-proof drivetrain compatibility.
  1. Sedona MTB Festival kicks off our demo season and is the home of our annual birthday bash. It’s always a great time spent with passionate riders from around the world, excited to get behind the bars of a Revel. This year was a little extra special as our birthday celebration was also a launch party for our new Rascal.
  2. Rail29 - Thoughtfully updated this year with a longer fork and new build specs make the enduro bike we know and love bigger and better than ever. Add to that, two eye catching new colors: Flow State and Cowboy Coffee, and the Rail29 looks great and changes harder than ever before.
  3. Sea Otter Classic – Fun in the sun at the legendary Laguna Raceway. We always look forward to connecting industry friends, shops and riders alike!
  1. Boneyard Bash – Our annual community festival celebrating Bike Week and raising money for local bike nonprofits was an absolute smash. We’re so grateful to be a part of this amazing community that showed up to support Bonedale Bike Week.
  2. Love Your Brain – We partnered with our friends at LoveYourBrain to give away this one-of-kind Rail29 to help support them and their mission to improve the quality of life of people affected by concussion and traumatic brain injury and raise awareness about the importance of brain health.
  3. Tuesday Bike Nights – Every Tuesday during the summer we shut down the office early to ride the local bike park together as a crew.
  4. New Revel Bikes HQ! – This fall we moved into our new headquarters. While we only moved a few blocks away this was a huge undertaking for our crew. It was all hands-on decks to get out of our old space and into the new. We couldn’t be more excited about our new space, right in the heart of Carbondale, CO!

Come visit us at our new HQ at 398 Merrill Ave., Carbondale CO!

  1. 10. Outerbike Crested Butte and Moab: two epic demo weekends we look forward to every year! No matter the location we love connecting with riders from near and far.
  2. Ride and Rebuild – Following the devastation caused in Western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene we hosted a group ride and community fundraiser to help our friends at Industry Nine and their surrounding communities.
  3. Grand Opening Party – An amazing evening, celebrating in our new home, surrounded by friends, family, new and longtime Revelers, and so many from our local community. We love hosting our local community and now that we’ve got some fancy new digs, we are even more excited to do it more often in 2025.

While there are plenty of moments that didn’t make this list, from lunch rides with the crew to good times on the trail with our athlete team, it’s safe to say we packed a lot into 2024.

We’ve got a lot more coming in 2025 so make sure you don’t miss a beat! Sign up for our email newsletter and follow us on social media below!
