Design Features

UDH

SRAM’s UDH derailleur hanger has been incorporated to keep Ranger compatible with the latest and greatest drivetrain technologies.

CBF™ Suspension

The CBF™ suspension design is what makes the positive uphill and downhill performance of the Ranger possible. A stable pedalling platform, controlled under braking, and a bottomless feel keep the Ranger from hardly feeling out-gunned.

All New Links and Hardware

The all new Ranger shares the effective and simple hardware design that we introduced with Rail29. We've added a collet axle design with larger 15mm bearings on the lower rearward pivot for increased frame stiffness, more clearance, easier maintenance, and an even quieter ride.

Titanium Shock Hardware

Because ti is fly. Every Revel frame comes tricked out with titanium shock mount hardware.

Fully Guided Internal Routing

Simple, quiet cable routing! Fully guided internal tubes make maintenance and replacing cables a dream.

Bottles for Miles

Ranger frames are built with up to 3 sets of standard bottle and accesory mounts so you never have to leave that extra water bottle or toolset at home.

Debris Guard

Keep those lower pivots and link clean and clear with our debris guard. Now included with all Ranger frames.

Support

Long story short: New rear triangle carbon layup and profile, new collet hardware and pivot links, new (bigger) 15mm lower pivot bearings, SRAM UDH and Eagle Transmission compatilbility, new colors.

The new rear triangle layup increases lateral stiffness by 20% with zero added weight, the new shape profile offers greater drivetrain clearance, the simplified hardware is more durable and easier to maintain, the change in bearings and link design improve suspension performance, and the new colors look badass.

The Ranger V2 now offers SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) compatibility, so replacement hangers are easier to find and your bike's drivetrain is more future-proof against manufacturer updates down the line.

Great news - the Ranger V2 now comes standard with Revel's debris guard!

We did not the design the Ranger V2 to be ridden as a mullet so we don't recommend it.

36T Round / 34T Oval

The Ranger V2 is NOT compatible with any chainguides or bashguards currently on the market. The new SRAM transmission cranks have built in bashguards to keep your chainring fresh.

No, the new V2 rear triangle is not backwards compatible with Ranger V1.

»   Ensure all bolts are torqued to spec listed in this manual and on bolt head.
»   All bolts are right hand threaded but have hex profiles on either end. If turning the bolt from the threaded side, turning counter clockwise will tighten the bolt
»   Bolts come with Nylock patch installed. This serves the function of thread looker and can be reused for multiple installations. Verify condition of patch before assembly. If patch looks worn or damaged add Blue Loctite 243.
»   It is easier to tighten linkage assembly to torque once it has been fully assembled. Similarly it is easiset to break bolts free when linkage is fully assembled.
»   We recommend only changing bearings that show signs of wear.
